Anthrocon 08 and a special suprise
Anthrocon this year was plenty fun, probably even better than last year. Even though last year I got to enjoy the experience of nearly falling to my death off stage (hehe) while doing our Greased Lightning skit at the masquerade. Wow... was that really a whole year ago?

This year had its own special moment though. As stated in my last journal, I just turned 30. And it turned out that jdpuppy decided to put together something for me at AC.

Both jdpuppy and I were in the last stretch of outrayjus's masquerade skit panel on Friday night. He asked if I wanted to go upstairs with him and change but I decided to stay downstairs and suit a bit more instead. After some time, foxwell, who was still downstairs, came up and said my mate was looking for me.

I was feeling really tired and thirsty, so I made a trip to the headless lounge first before going back upstairs. That's when foxwell found me again and told me that jdpuppy wanted me to come upstairs. Feeling a little confused and wondering what was going on, I went upstairs, where tsuyoto was there waiting for me near the elevators.

He said jdpuppy wanted me to meet some "new friend" of his. So I followed him to some room on the same floor and the door was opened. Then this happened...

As you can probably tell, I was in a shocked daze when that happened ^^ Following that was a night of drinking, hanging out, and a card game called Circle of Death which was pretty crazy.

It was then where I also found out about the craziness of my mate trying to get everything set for that day and how he almost freaked when foxwell nearly "lost me" when I went to the headless lounge :)
